Finding A Campground In The Northern Tier Can Be Tough

If you want to find a campground in the Northern Tier, you may have a hard time. Not because of other campers, but because gas company employees are booking out the campgrounds to capacity. One campground owner told our news partner WETM-TV, "when we first bought the campground, we were lucky to get 3 or 4 campers in here at a time. Now, in the last three years, we've been full." The average camper used to stay a few days, now the average stay-- is months.
