Feds Investigate Penn State

Federal authorities are doing their own investigation of Penn State University and the child sex abuse scandal involving its former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. The university recently received a federal subpoena requesting information about top Penn State officials with alleged connections to the scandal. Sandusky is under house arrest and faces more than 50 counts of allegedly molesting nearly a dozen young boys over a 15-year period. The federal subpoena also requests information from Penn State about Sandusky and his charity, The Second Mile, that serves at-risk youngsters. A probe by the Pennsylvania state attorney general's office of the Sandusky scandal started making national headlines in November of 2011 when Sandusky was charged with child sexual abuse in the case.
