Federal Judge Backs Perry's Right to Pray

   A  federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit that sought to stop Texas Governor Rick Perry from participating in an August 6th Day of Prayer and fasting.
 Judge Gray Miller ruled that the Freedom From Religion Foundation did not have standing to sue. the group had argued that Perry's involvement in the Houston event would violate the Constitution. Perry said as Governor he should still have First Amendment rights. The judge agreed.
