If you believe you are finding a slim bank account to pay utility bills, you are not alone. More than 60-thousand people have had service disconnected by National Grid for unpaid bills during the first eleven months this year.

Reports show one out of six users are two months or more behind in payments. National Grid officials say late payments have increased almost 20-percent over 2007. Fuel costs have dropped recently, but utilities are worried that winter heating bills could force more families into even more hardships in supplying other needs.
