Drought Hits Pet Owners

The American Veterinarian Medical Association says there is going to be a 1-billion-dollar rise in the cost of pet products, especially pet food, because of the drought, over the next several months. Meanwhile, Americans aren't owning as many pets. 1.5 million of us have said no because of the poor economy. We simply can't afford them. Over the last 5 years, pet ownershop has dropped 2 and a half percent across the nation.
