 Ibuprofin may double a woman's risk for miscarriage. A new study out of Quebec shows non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs-- over the counter painkillers like Ibuprofin and naproxen-- are dangerous to pregnant women. Reseachers said even though there are clear labels on the sides of the bottles, 1 in every 6 pregnant women still take them. For their study, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, the researchers surveyed more than 47,000 women aged 15 to 45 years. They said any woman with child who needs pain relif should stick to Acetaminophen, found in products like Tylenol.
