Dog Wardens Cracking Down in PA

04.17.14 | Terry Diener

That knock at the door could be a warden checking to make sure your dog is properly licensed in Pennsylvania.
Dog wardens will canvass homes across the Keystone state over the next couple of months, to ensure dog owners have a valid license for their pets. The license costs less than $9 depending on the type of dog and whether it is spayed or neutered. Owners of unlicensed dogs are subject to a $300 fine, with an additional $300 tacked on if the dog does not have a rabies vaccination.
