Chrysler Prepares New Ad Campaign Amid Bankruptcy

Chrysler is ratcheting up an ad campaign designed to assure customers it is still a viable company looking toward a prosperous future. The "Wall Street Journal" reports the campaign will feature the tagline, "we're building a better car company, come see what we're building for you."

The ads will be featured in print and TV and will be supported with new incentives. Chrysler marketing chief Steve Landry told the paper the objective is to establish a level of trust with customers, and it's, quote, "business as usual." Chrysler returns to bankruptcy court in New York today seeking permission to use billions more in federal loans to pay suppliers.
