Car Dealers Use Device On Vehicles Sold To People With Low Credit

Consumers with credit problems have a new option when buying a car. Instead of getting high interest rates or needing a down payment, dealerships are opting to sell the vehicle with a device installed that makes an annoying alarm clock beeping sound when a payment is late. It's called Passtime-- and it's sold in all 50 states. When the vehicle is about to be repossed, the device locks the car down-- it simply won't drive.
