Are you one of those people who likes to keep busy making things? Maybe you like to woodwork, quilt, or make cards. Or maybe you like making jewelry… or soap. Whatever gets your creative juices flowing, we have an opportunity to share with you. One that glorifies God and uses the talent He placed in you!

The organizers of Family Life’s Christmas Ladies Luncheon and Craft Bazarre are seeking people, just like you, to make and donate items for the 2012 event.

But you say, “It’s not Christmas!” No, but if you’re like me and all the other crafty people I know, the “busy” index only increases as Fall arrives, which puts the holidays right around the corner. Now would be a great time to make a few extra items to contribute!

Not sure what to make? From my experience, the ladies who attend our luncheon aren’t difficult to please, and they'll probably like what you do. Christmas decorations for the home are always popular. Crafts make great gifts overall, for anyone – family, friends, the next door neighbor or a favorite teacher. Whatever your passion to create, I’m sure there will be a lady who will be thrilled to take it home!

May we count on you this year to craft and donate items? The luncheon date is Wednesday, December 5, and items may be dropped off at Family Life (or mailed to P.O. Box 506, Bath, NY 14810) anytime between now and then. If you have a suggested price for your items, please include those too, and mark the package for Christmas Ladies Luncheon, attention: Trudi.
