Buffalo Residents Warned: Zombies Ahead

A construction sign in front of Canisius College, which usually warns of detours or other construction-related information, carried a different message. Instead of warning drivers of lane closure, the message read "Proceed with Caution, Zombies Ahead." It has previously carried the message "Road Work Ahead, Expect Delays."
The message was first noticed yesterday and has since been taken down. Zombie signs have popped up in other areas, such as Indiana and Texas. Those signs appeared a few months ago. Apparently, instructions on how to access the system to change the signs have been posted by hackers on the Internet.
