A barn fire in north central Pennsylvania this morning killed 10,000 turkeys.  Beaver Springs Fire Company Deputy Fire Chief John Zechman said the barn was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene in Snyder County.

The Daily Item Newspaper is reporting the three-alarm fire in Adams Township began at 3:22am. Firefighters from Snyder and Union counties kept the blaze from spreading to another barn. The fire is not considered suspicious, and no injuries were reported.
