Are We Over-medicating Our Kids?

A new study indicates that pediatricians often prescribe antibiotics to children unnecessarily. The study, published in the medical journal "Pediatrics," concluded that doctors wrote more than ten-million prescriptions for antibiotics each year for conditions that didn't call for the drugs, such as bronchitis, the flu, asthma and allergies. Experts say the overuse of antibiotics can lead to anti-biotic resistant infections.
