Are Police Officers Enforcing NY's New Move Over Law?

       It's now law in New York to move over into the next lane when first responders are working on the side of the road.  But are New York motorists actually following it?? Dan Burgess with the New York State Police tells WIVB-TV in the one week since the new "Move Over" law took effect - authorities in his district have only issued two tickets for violators of the statute. The law requires drivers to slow down and switch lanes when passing parked emergency vehicles with blinking lights.
