Apple Picking Season Is Coming Early

Apple picking has started extra early this year in New York because of the warm spring.  Rick Resinger owns Resinger's Apple Country in Watkins Glen. He told W.E.N.Y. television "I'd say we're two weeks early, at least. The earlier we start, the earlier we finish. So when the fruit starts to ripen, we have to go."  There's about a 50-percent drop in the apple crop this year from the drought.
