The Steele Memorial Library is hosting Drag Queen Story Time.

Ronald Shaw is director of the Chemung County Library District, which owns the Steele Library.  He says folks against the event need not attend with their children.

I asked him if Christian groups would have the same access to their library as the drag queens do. He said, "as long as it's books dealing with peace, understanding, and that sort of thing."

Drag queens will reading the book Frozen to children next Thursday night, November 14,  in Elmira.

Garry Ingraham with Love and Truth Network tells Family Life News, events like this breed greater depression in kids by fostering confusion."

Many Christians argue Drag Queen Story Time amounts to brain-washing at best and child abuse at worse.
