Abortions Not Allowed At Military Hospitals

The U.S. Senate has opposed a bill that would allow abortions at military base hospitals. It was a second attempt by pro-abortion Democrats to stop a Republican fillibuster against the Defense Department funding measure. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid could not find enough votes to stop debate, but he brought the measure up for a vote and it failed yesterday, 57 to 40.
