This week, Governor Cuomo called on the state legislature to make it legal.

Back in the 1990s, Dennis Vacco successfully argued a case before the U.S. supreme court dealing with doctor-assisted suicide.

Vacco says assisted suicide is risky and once that "genie is out of the bottle," there's no putting it back!

He thinks assisted suicide will lead to abuse against the elderly and disabled.

Right now, seven states permit doctor-assisted suicide.
