A drag queen story-hour event at a PA public library is drawing the ire of pro-family forces

The American Library Association encourages locations to have events where men, dressed in women's clothes and heavy makeup, read to children.

Michael Geer with the Pennsylvania Family Institute tells Family Life News "people need to find out well in advance and communicate with the library board in a respectful way to say 'maybe this is not the appropriate thing to have in our community.'"

Last weekend, a draq queen named "Annie Christ" read aloud from the book, Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed by Mo Willems at a public library near Philadelphia.
