A franchise that already controlled a couple local Coca-Cola bottlers in Pennsylvania has snapped up 10 more in the Keystone State and one in West Virginia. Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages has bought Erie's Coca-Cola bottling company.

Abarta plans to keep all 104 workers at the facility, which supplies Erie, Crawford, Forest, McKean, Potter and Warren counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. It's also now handling bottling in Reading, DuBois, and Mount Pocono.

The acquisition triples the number of employees in Abarta from 550 to 1500.
