A change of heart for WNY Representative Chris Collins

In an about face, the Republican congressman says he will campaign for his seat despite facing insider trading charges.

There's concern on both sides of the aisle as Collins campaign is in the midst of a criminal proceeding.

Erie County GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy says the group hoped to offer voters "a candidate that did not face the distraction of a legal defense."

Collins says the stakes are "too high" and that's why he's running for re-election after announcing just weeks ago he would not.

He also says he's innocent of the insider trading charges and will fight in court to clear his name.

Collins will face Democrat Nate McMurray in November.
