200 Churches In Maine Taking Offering To Fight For Traditional Marriage

Federal law says churches can't support a political candidate, but they can support a political cause. Two-hundred churches in the state of Maine are collecting money in the offering plate to fight a referendum in November that asks voters to legalize same-sex weddings. Other states that will decide this issue at the ballot box in november include Minnesota, Maryland and Washington.
