11th Graders Have A New Test To Take In P.A. This Winter

Surprise! 11th graders in Pennsylvania will be taking the Keystone exams this year. Those are the tests that will eventually be tied to their graduation. They will take them in two waves, first, in mid-December, then again in mid-January. Schools say they weren't informed of the timeline until July, far too late to tweak curriculum to help the teens prep. The graduation requirement doesn't kick in until 2016, so though the kids will take the tests this year, it will not affect their ability to graduate.
