The Fans Booed! But He Still Praises God!

Even if you didn't watch the Wild Card game between the defending world champion Philadelphia Eagles, and the home-standing Chicago Bear, you've probably heard about the kick.

Trailing 16-15 with 10 seconds left, Bears kicker Cody Parkey attempted a 43-yard game winner...

The NFL has officially called it a blocked kick as the Eagles Treyvon Hester was able to get a finger on the ball as it cleared the line, securing the Eagles 16-15 victory.

So what did Cody do after the miss? First he slouched over in agony, but then he pointed to the heavens giving God the glory for the opportunity.

And then after the game, as the home crowd poured down boos, Cody took part in a prayer huddle.

What a great reminder, give God the glory in good times and bad.

Psalm 34:17~18... The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Keep the faith Cody! And congrats E-A-G-L-E-S!
