It's Testimony Tuesday on Family Life and today we'd love to hear "How you have grown Spiritually in the last year?" And what are you using in your growth? The Daily Bread? The Upper Room? A Bible study guide? Please call 1-888-413-4156 or you can leave a note below.

Thank you.

Nutshell: married. many years of miscarriages, stillbirths. finally - adoption! but two yrs later found there are many birth defects. grief over loss of what could have been but embracing new challenges. two yrs later another adoption! life change into FT ministry. 2 yrs later husband diagnosed w/rare, fast cancer. 82 days later he is in heaven and I am left shaking my head and wondering why/how to go on/how to now be a single mom. Parallel life: man with twin sons, wife diagnosed w/cancer and she also goes to heaven. He is left alone now. He and I meet. Love! Marriage! (No, no baby carriage! Been there - done that! Too old to go through that again.)God has blessed us tremendously and restored two broken families into one complete new larger family. When we married I moved to his location. Now I am a daily listener to Family Life. Have grown immensely as I listen to new programs and am able to rejoice daily in song. Nothing against my old Christian station, but I guess it had gotten stale to me. I am refreshed with the new friends I have now through the radio. (This is the nutshell? Imagine how long it would have been had I not condensed it down!!)

Hey there Sonny! Found out yesterday at church that you read my nutshell on the air last week. Guess I was busy doing the Mom thing with the kids and homework and missed it. Several ladies commented that they were listening and thought Hey! I know someone like this! Then they realized it was indeed me. I am truly blessed with these new friends. Yes, I deeply miss the day to day contact of my old friends in Rochester, but these ladies are fast becoming a big part of my new life. FLN is also a HUGE part of my day. A big word of encouragement to you all to keep going. Be not weary in well doing!
