Don't forget that today, Family Life is pleased to be hosting our 14th annual Home School Used Curriculum Sale, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Family Life Center in Bath, New York. There is NO admission fee for those who wish only to browse or buy! There will be special activities to minister to children who attend. The Snack Shop will be open and have lots of yummy food available for all participants.

Dose of Encouragement...

(Galatians 6:9)  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The evil in this world may seem overpowering – but good guys don’t finish last.  God is greater, and our good works for His sake will always be rewarded.

Psalms 37:7 "Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act"

So often as a Christian (or maybe as a woman...who knows) I am impatient for God to act. I always want to rush Him. After, unfortunately, doing that one too many times He let me learn the hard way that it is best to wait for Him. Whether it was for the right job, on a friendship, relationship, waiting for healing, or a decision that needed to be made God has ingrained in me that I just need to be still and wait...He will act or guide me when it is time. And let me tell you when I listen, wait, and be patient He shows me where I need to go.
