God gave me the opportunity this year to attend the Women of Faith conference and after that I felt empowered to not only witness but to also testify to others. God brought me to my knees this past year and taught me how to stop and be thankful for the blessings that I have when there are so many who don't have anything. He taught me that no matter what its not all about me its all about him. I look forward this year to many more amazing spiritual adventures.

April 28, 2012 will be a day many from Akron, NY will not forget. You see, this was the day that we were witnesses to the beginning of a miracle. A man named Jim DeYoung was working on a 15 ft ladder at one of his rental properties and fell flat on his face. When Jim arrived at ECMC in Buffalo via Mercy Flight his family was told to prepare for the worst. At best the neurosurgeon figured he would be in a deep coma for at least 6 months and would never be the same. Long story short, Jim arrived home 4 months after his accident. He is a living, breathing miracle!! He is now back to attending church every Sunday, and back in his normal duties serving as usher. It is an amazing thing to see the that Jim has made in just the 8 1/2 months since his accident. I am reminded each day of how good God is and the amazing power of prayer. I can't wait to see what God still has in store for Mr. DeYoung and am proud to say that I have been witness to a miracle of such magnitude.
