To the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and to all who served, Thank you! Happy Veterans Day! Feel free to leave your thanks for a member of the service below or call 888-413-4156.

Also in the three o'clock hour, Kurt Goff joins us for an inside look at 'Inside Out'. In the latest episode, Kurt speaks to Captain Scott Smiley who lost his sight after a suicide bombers attack.

At 4:50 it's another Plugged In Movie Review. Today's movie is Denzel Washington's "Unstoppable!" A movie that was shot in the Family Life listening area. Is it okay to take the entire family to see? Tune in and find out.

Have a GR8 Day!

Hi Sonny. I left this on your facebook page, but then saw you had this blog up. I now have a 20 year old son-in-law who is a Marine, stationed in Hawaii with my daughter. His name is Dan, her name is Brittany. He has already completed one tour of duty in Afghanistan, and will be leaving for his second in May. He is infantry, so he is right on the front lines. I prayed before he left, while he was gone, and still continue to pray for his next tour. Although, I hate the word tour for this situation. When you think of tour, you think of vacation or sight seeing. This is anything but a vacation! It's awful there!! So these days, Veterans Day is more than a day off of work and school, or a day when there's no mail. Veteran's Day has a whole new meaning for me. I praise God for bringing him home safe, when several from his unit didn't make it home. And I continue to ask for God's protection over him for when he has to go there again. To be quite honest, I pray for something to come up so he doesn't have to go! So today I thank Dan for his part in protecting our nation, and I pray for and thank all Vets, past and present for the many sacrifices they have made. God bless America! :)
