Many of you have asked for an update on our own Cecil Vanhouten. Well here it is from Cecil himself:
"It’s very humbling to have so many people praying and I thank each one of you. Many have asked for updates, so I’ve set up a page on the CaringBridge website. I’ll be updating it several times a week. If you list an email address you’ll receive a notification every time an update is posted. Here’s the address: www.caringbridge.org/visit/cecilvanhouten. Looking forward to hearing from you. God has us on an interesting adventure - I hope you’ll be a part of it too."

Dearest Cecil.
I know that I feel very connected to you...just because I've loved being a "groupie for Cecil". Hearing you on FLN has been my connection. I've prayed for you, laughed with you, cried for your situation and I will continue to do so. However, there is a RN inside of me who has had 3 rough surgeries in the past year.(No heart ones--feminine kind of ones..) and can fully understand how important hospital staff can be...They are all so important..So as you gain a "new hospital family" may God keep you and Connie safe and secure in knowing that God Is In Control.
