Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake Pie

¼ cup plus 2 t. chopped peanuts, divided
1 prepared chocolate crumb crust
2 t. caramel topping
1 package Toll House chips
1 cup peanut butter
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
2 ½ cups whipped topping, divided

Sprinkle ¼ cup peanuts onto bottom of pie crust. Drizzle with 1 t. Caramel topping. Combine chips and peanut butter in micro-wave safe bowl and heat till chips are melted. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar till creamy. add peanut butter mixture and blend well. Add whipped topping and stir till smooth. Spoon into pie crust and top with 1 cup whipped topping and decorate top with caramel and peanuts. Chill 2 hours and serve
