If you're reading this, Family Life's new website has been successfully launched!! Welcome to the Adult Ministries section. Take a few minutes to peruse all that Adult Ministries has to offer. We have done our best for years to provide events and activities for adults of all ages and all walks and seasons of life. This new website gives us one more way to minister to you. And I'm very excited about this new opportunity!
You can still find out about all of Family Life's Adult Ministry events by clicking on the "Adult Ministry Events" link. But there is so much more for you to "chew" on. We want you to get a real taste of what Adult Ministries has to offer.
Our SALSA ministry is a place for us to meet single adults where they're at and provide an atmosphere and activities that encourage healthy relationships with each other and a growing relationship with Christ. We also provide encouragement, training and promotion for other singles groups in the FLN listening area.
Our Seniors for Christ ministry provides monthly (October - May) luncheons for area seniors (55 years or older). These luncheons include a delicious meal and a program with either a speaker or entertainment that is of interest to our seniors. This ministry provides an opportunity for seniors to spend a relaxing morning of fellowship among friends.
Our Womens Ministry offers Ladies Luncheons and Ladies Nights Out. These events minister to ladies of all ages in our listening area. They always provide a delicious variety of food and/or desserts presented in a way that says "you're special". But that's not all. Our goal is to feed your souls as well. We minister to the hearts of women by providing speakers and musicians who, through their stories and music, will draw you into a personal encounter with Jesus.
Family Life's Dinner Concerts and Dinner Theaters take the concept of "dinner and a show" to a new level! These evenings begin with a delicious three course meal. The Dinner Concerts encore that meal with the music and ministry of a gifted Christian musician or musical group. The Dinner Theaters feature Family Life's Performing Arts Department, ministering the truth of God's Word through music and drama.
Our Bible Correspondence Course is a discipleship ministry that offers the opportunity for participants to dive deeper into God's Word. Our Bible Correspondence students are mailed brief, well illustrated lessons that encourage them to get into the Word and then complete a series of questions. They are guided by the course leader who provides feedback and awards a certificate of completion when all the lessons in a study are completed.
And as always, Family Life is proud to offer Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and families. FOCUS services are based on methods of personal counseling sifted through Biblical truth. Our counselors are professionally certified and have sound Biblical knowledge, so you can be confident in this service.
And the ministry that happens in Family Life's kitchen involves so much more than food! That's a fact!
