Youtheatre Workshops
04.15.13 |
Early bird registrations are now open for five days of learning and growing in the performing arts! Family Life's Youtheatre workshops are carefully crafted for kids and teens ages 8-15.
Students will experience training in acting, stagecraft, makeup, costuming and voice. Drama instuctors believe that building faith in young people is the most important of all. Therefore, Jesus Christ is emphasized throughout the process, teaching students how theater can be used to reach people for the Lord.
On the final day of the workshop, students will showcase their newly-learned theater skills by presenting a musical production of The Prodigal Clown. The story is based on Jesus' parable of the loving father and his two sons, interwoven with hilarious clowns, lion tamers, and human cannonballs!
Early bird registrations are $75/student and $60 for each additional sibling. The cost increases after June 1 to $95/student and $80 for each additional sibling. Registrations can be made online or by calling 1.800.927.9083.
