twistergame2Attempting a new Guinness World Record at Letourneau Christian Center on Canandaigua Lake, Family Life’s Camp EDGE will play Twister on a 20,000 square foot Twister mat—the largest game of Twister ever tried!

On Saturday, July 23, Camp EDGE will challenge the current world record held by Brazen PR (United Kingdom), set last October, 2011, for the largest game of Twister played on a 17,161 square foot mat.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., about 150 keyed up campers between the ages of 7 and 13 will begin several dozen games of Twister at one time.

About 50 camp counselors and staff volunteers will simultaneously referee the matches as players entwine themselves on 21,000 colored circles! When only a few players remain, referees will carefully judge the last match to determine the "Winner of the Largest Twister Game in the World!” Family Life expects the game to take about an hour.
