Sonny And Denny Welcome Contest Winners

Friday, January 15, Sonny & Denny welcomed Jon and Terry Allen of Penfield, NY who won the "Breakfast With Sonny and Denny" contest during our fall Sharathon. The Allens have been FLN listeners and supporters for a number of years and while they'd never been to the FLN Center in Bath, NY before, their first visit was memorable.
While still in recovery mode, Denny was able to be here for the show and he and Sonny interviewed the Allens during the 8 o'clock hour. They lead interesting lives; Jon is a former Coast Guard Commander who served as a military aide to the President and also served as Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard base on Iwo Jima. Now retired from the military, he works for Xerox. Terry is a gifted veterinarian with a practice in the Penfield area.
Following the morning show they enjoyed breakfast with Sonny and Denny, toured the FLN facility and met many of the staff. We appreciate the Allens for their prayerful and financial support and for making the trip to visit us and enjoy breakfast with Sonny and Denny.
