ScottykOne of Christian music’s most accomplished songwriters, Scott Krippayne, will give five concerts this March for Family Life.

Scott Krippayne is best known for his songwriting talent and eclectic, piano-driven pop sound. His lyrics are personal, reflective, and touch on the more poignant struggles of Christian living. Vocally, Scott is most alike to John Mayer, with Billy Joel and Elton John as additional influences.

Showing the breadth and depth of his songwriting talent, Scott is admired in pop culture circles for being the co-writer of "This Is My Now" – a song chosen for the final of American Idol Season Six and sung by Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis.

In 2009, Scott released his eleventh album, Exalted Worship. His past CD releases have produced nine number one singles. With over 150 of his songs recorded by other artists, many well-known Christian singers have benefited from Krippayne’s lyrical talents, including such groups as Point of Grace, John Tesh, and Avalon.
