Fall Sharathon

sillymikeFamily Life will launch into four days of fabulous fundraising starting Oct 13 and ending late in the evening on Oct 16. Folks who’ve volunteered at Sharathon before, or who've visited the event, know there’s plenty of food to eat, games for the kids, and people to meet – like radio personalities and FL staff members (who by the way, are mostly off their rockers).

A fish dinner will be served on Friday from 4:30-7:30 pm for $7. It’s flakey and oh-so-tasty. (Emily Oliver, our Events Director, agrees.) Yummy side dish choices are available to compliment the dinner, none of which are seen on Emily’s plate. Someone needs to teach this girl how to eat!

Our busiest day of Sharathon is Saturday - BBQ day! And the food lasts from morning ‘till evening that day. Enjoy Stearn’s chicken and BBQ pulled-pork from 11am-8pm, with a selection of side and dessert choices for only $7.

Yes, please...

FLN broadcasts live each day from 6am-7pm on Oct 13-16. The last two days of Sharathon start at 6am and go late into the evening, with Saturday ending around Mid-night. It's a great time to meet the radio staff.

Set the kids loose at the carnival, enjoy your meal, and watch while they rack up tickets to claim prizes. There’s even a bounce house for high doses of energy expending! The carnival is open Friday from 4-8pm and Saturday from 1-8pm.

The Family Life Prize Wheel.

There’s even a bounce house for high amounts of energy expending! Kids can have their face painted too.

Balloon hats anyone? George Sweatt, our youth coordinator-slash-radio announcer, can make pretty much anything out of air and stretchy plastic. Go ahead and test him!

Games and games galore.

Now that you know what’s going on at Sharathon, join us with your family any day between Oct 13th and 16th. We’d love to meet you. =)

At Sharathon, FLN is up close and personal as we broadcast live each day from 6am-7pm on April 7-8. The last two days of Sharathon, April 9-10, start at 6am and go late into the evening, Saturday ending at Mid-night.  The entire radio operation is moved from the studio to the gymnasium so the public can experience the telethon in action. It's a great time to meet your favorite radio personalities.
